Remember back in high school when everyone started asking you…
What career do you want to follow?
Ever been asked that?
It’s not an easy question to answer, especially when you’re young, have little experience, and don’t know what the future holds.
Recently, I listened to a podcast by Jose Balta, where he shared why this question can feel so frustrating and limiting.
He suggested a better one that can light up a clearer path:
What problem do you want to solve?

This shift opens up a world of options.
It directs you toward what you need to learn to make a real difference.
Jose also explained the value of focusing on one of three main areas:
- Health
- Wealth
- Love and relationships
Ask yourself:Â What problem would I love to solve in one of these areas?
Think about your interests, skills, and experiences.
What do you enjoy? What have you learned that you could share with others?
For me, it’s Wealth — specifically, helping solo social media marketing agency owners or freelancers who are struggling make money online by building sustainable, long-term income with digital products.
I don’t promote quick, easy wins; I focus on what’s steady and reliable for the long term.
Health is also part of my journey.
As a tennis coach, I love connecting with my community about fitness and the positive impact of sports for a healthy life and mind.
My long-term goal is to bring these two worlds together — sports and technology.
But as the saying goes, step by step.
So, let me ask you:
What problem do you want to solve?
Which of these three areas — health, wealth, or love/relationships — aligns best with your goals?
Could you solve that problem online?
Take a few minutes to think it over.
This simple question can bring powerful clarity to your future path as a solopreneur.
Commit, move, and conquer.
