Opportunities don’t just land in your lap.
Most of the time, you have to go out and create them.
Shoot your shot. Start the conversation. Move first.
Whether at a meetup, walking in the park, or hitting the gym—a simple “Hola, qué tal?” can open a door.
And this doesn’t just apply offline.
It works online too—especially when you’re building your audience, connecting with potential partners, or just trying to grow.
Leave thoughtful comments. Ask meaningful questions. Reach out with intention.
Don’t wait for permission or the “perfect moment” to start. (It usually never comes.)
Here are some small actions that created big shifts for me:
- ✔️ A simple “hey” after class at university got me into one of the best entrepreneurship groups—and helped us build a cool app.
- ✔️ Hitting balls with my nephew next to a coach landed me a part-time tennis job a few weeks later.
- ✔️ Cold outreach to companies (instead of waiting for listings) helped me land more job interviews than any recruiting platform ever did.
- ✔️ Posting content—without waiting for perfection—helped me improve my writing, communication skills, gain confidence, build digital assets and make sales.
- ✔️ Launching my own site and email list, learning new skills, and slowly building my business from the ground up.
Each of those moments started with me deciding to move.
From spectator → to protagonist.
And that’s the mindset that also led me to land my first SMMA client…
…and later, to realize I wanted something different—more scalable, more free.
That’s when I started selling high-ticket digital products.
It gave me more control, more clarity—and allowed me to focus on what I actually enjoy doing: building systems, writing content, helping others grow.
This same proactive mindset is what I encourage you to adopt as a solopreneur.
Take the shot. Start building.
