There’s a time to conquer, and there’s a time to relax.

Finding the balance between action and rest is key to continuous growth in your online business and life.

This can be summarized in a 4 step framework.

Plan, do, feedback, and relax.

Start by planning the night before.

Identify the one thing — or a few things — you must do the next day.

For me, it’s sharing this post with you.

Then, when you wake up, go into action mode.

Execute that main first task with full focus.

In my online business, I focus on two main tasks daily:

  1. Engaging and connecting with those people who are struggling with their e-commerce business, don’t want to give up on their idea of building something meaningful online, and are looking to pivot.
  2. Creating content — written and video — that attracts those seeking specific guidance.

One is proactive, finding the people I can help.

The other is creative, improving my skills and organically drawing in those who resonate with my message.

But it’s not all about action.

You also need to take time to reflect.

Analyze what you did right, what you can improve, and how people responded.

Trust your instincts, and look at the numbers if you have them.

Finally, allow yourself to relax.

Whether it’s chilling in bed, meeting friends, or going for a walk — disconnect to recharge.

In Jewish tradition, there’s a beautiful concept of balancing work and rest.

Six days of conquering, and one day of complete rest, the Shabbat.

They work hard, do business, study, and strive to be the best version of themselves, then take a full day to relax, give thanks, and recharge.

As we start this new week, and the second day of September, remember to find that balance.

Conquer your goals, but also take time to rest.

Plan, do, feedback, and relax.

Remember and apply them daily.

Vamos todavia!
